CSF's budget analysts act as student consultants to campus units that receive student registration fees. They also serve as student representatives on committees that manage referenda fee funding. At the end of the academic year, CSF members conduct interviews with employees and leaders of campus organizations, and formulate budget reports based on their findings.

Levi Cannon is a senior studying Economics. He enjoys hiking, making pasta, reading fiction, and watching football. He joined CSF to get a better understanding of student needs and advocate for more financial transparency at Cal.
Wilson Sarosa

Wilson is a senior pursuing dual majors in Molecular and Cell Biology and Economics. Driven by a keen interest in finance and the intricacies of budget auditing, he joined the Committee on Student Fees (CSF) to better understand and influence the judicious allocation of student fees. In addition to his role at CSF, he also works as an IT Product Strategy Analyst at UC Berkeley's Office of the CTO. Outside academia and work, Wilson cherishes a good film, loses himself in music, and relishes a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.

Jaysa is a junior majoring in Computer Science & English. When she's not working for CSF, she volunteers as a staff member at the OCF and plays video games on her steam deck. She likes experimenting with different distributions of Linux and learning about free and open-source software. She decided to join CSF to represent the student interests when it comes to student fees and ensure those fees are used for projects which benefit the UC Berkeley community.

Natraj Vairavan is a senior studying Economics and Statistics. He enjoys cooking, hiking, trying new restaurants. He joined to make an impact on the lives of students and make Berkeley a more inclusive place.
Alexa Zytnick
Budget Analyst
Alexa is a PhD candidate in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology. She works on engineering bacteria to recycle electronic waste. Passionate about financial responsibility and equity, Alexa joined CSF to ensure student needs are being met. Outside of work she likes to read fiction, hang out with her cat Curie, and make any excuse to be by the ocean.
Emily Zhou

Emily Zhou is a senior studying Business Administration and Computer Science. She's interested in a career in finance and has participated in Girls Who Invest. During her free time she enjoys hanging out with animals, baking, and playing board games. She joined CSF to learn more about Berkeley's financials and see how the money students pay is being put to use.
Bradley Berman

Bradley is a junior studying Engineering Mathematics and Statistics. He joined CSF to enact positive change in his community while gaining the skills of an analyst. Outside of school, he likes to lift, play chess, or hang out with friends. Most of all, he is passionate about CSF's ability to use funding as a tool for advocacy and growth.
Alienor Baskevitch
Budget Analyst
Alienor is a 5th year Ph.D. candidate majoring in Microbiology. Outside of the graduate program, she enjoys being a PMBG officer, PMB Peer Mentor, and UCB Mycology club. On top of that, she hikes, goes backpacking, and skis in her free time. She recognized she'd been a member of the UC Berkeley community for quite a while, first as an undergraduate starting in 2014 and now as a graduate student since 2020. When she heard about CSF, she was excited to join because of her passion for students having a voice in how the UCB campus community is run and makes decisions; she's especially looking forward to bringing a graduate student perspective to CSF and advocating for the needs for students at all stages of their Berkeley education. What's more, she wants to make sure that students' fees are used appropriately and effectively to support the well-being of everyone on this campus.
Brinda Garg

Brinda is a sophomore studying Material Science and Engineering with a minor in Data Science. She hopes to pursue a career in semiconductors and tech. During her free time, she enjoys exploring the bay, reading, and spending time with friends. She joined CSF to learn more about the impact of students tuition and hopes to provide additional student perspective in the committee.

Samuel Olavarria is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in History. He enjoys playing soccer and playing chess in his free time. Samuel joined CSF, recognizing that he had the ability to make meaningful changes in order to help the student body at Berkeley. Through CSF, Samuel has been able to learn about financial auditing and budgeting.

Stefania is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Economics and Policy. She’s passionate about making an impact and plans to pursue a career in sustainable business. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature, exploring, being active, and drinking matcha. Stefania joined CSF to serve as a voice for the student body and to ensure efficient allocation of resources that benefit the UC Berkeley community.
